BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Senior Manager, Business Development & Venue Partnerships

Accra, Ghana · Remote (Hybrid after 6 months) · Full-time · 1-Year Contract

ABOUT TABLER

MyTabler is the start-up company behind Tabler, a hospitality booking and operations platform built for restaurants, lounges, clubs, and short-term events such as pop-ups, concerts, and festivals. Tabler brings every part of the hospitality experience together, serving guests looking for a great night out while giving venues, hosts, operators, and businesses of all sizes the tools to manage their operations more effectively.

Our mission is simple: reimagine hospitality through smarter technology. On a slow day, most systems work. It is on the busiest nights that the cracks begin to show: missed reservations, payment confusion, long waits, and operational chaos. Tabler was built for those moments, bringing bookings, payments, guest management, and day-to-day operations into one connected platform.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Beyond a traditional sales role, this is a commercial leadership position built for someone who operates independently, thinks like a founder, and takes full ownership of outcomes. You will develop your own business plans and goals, troubleshoot commercial and operational challenges as they arise, and deliver against Tabler’s growth targets.

You will be Tabler’s primary presence in the field, building relationships with venue partners across the city and managing every stage of the partner journey, from the first conversation through to a live and active venue on the platform. You will oversee and support a Partner Success Lead, ensuring that onboarding calls, product demos, and the operational side of partner management run cleanly behind you.

The role carries a structured reporting function. Weekly and monthly, you will produce clear updates on pipeline activity, partner performance, market conditions, and progress against key goals, feeding directly into Tabler’s leadership reporting.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Business development & strategy

– Develop and own business plans for Tabler’s growth in the Accra market; set clear goals, define the approach, and present recommendations for approval

– Set monthly and quarterly targets across pipeline activity, partner sign-ups, and revenue; review performance weekly and adjust where needed

– Define, track, and report on KPIs across the partner portfolio: pipeline velocity, conversion rates, partner retention, and revenue contribution

– Identify new market opportunities, venue categories, and growth vectors Tabler should be moving into

– Troubleshoot commercial and operational challenges as they arise; bring solutions, not just problems

Field sales & prospecting

– Prospect and build relationships with venue partners across the Ghana market: restaurants, clubs, lounges, beach clubs, event hosts, and other operators

– Oversee outbound and inbound sales activity, from first conversation to a signed contract

– Represent Tabler at industry events, venue visits, and partner meetings

– Maintain a live pipeline tracker and own your numbers: conversion rates, pipeline value, and active partner count

– Qualify prospective partners against Tabler’s standards before onboarding begins; not every venue belongs on the platform

Product demos & onboarding calls

– Oversee and manage the Partner Success Lead in scheduling and running product demonstrations and onboarding calls

– Be present on calls, providing senior oversight, stepping in where needed, and ensuring every interaction reflects Tabler’s positioning

– Ensure partners are walked through the platform, the process, and expectations clearly; nothing left to interpretation

– Confirm that all verified partner information is accurately captured and handed off to initiate the contract and onboarding process

Payments & commercial management

– Follow up, confirm, and manage service fee payments from all active partners

– Track payment status across the partner base and follow up on any overdue or outstanding amounts promptly

– Escalate persistent payment issues and maintain clear records of all commercial transactions

– Coordinate with the Partner Success Lead to ensure invoices are issued accurately and on time

Reporting & team management

– Produce weekly progress reports and lead weekly update meetings with the leadership team, with support from the Partner Success Lead

– Produce month-end reports and a next-month engagement plan in the final week of every month

– Manage and support the Partner Success Lead, signing off on their weekly deliverables and flagging any issues

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in account management or business development; preferably within hospitality, entertainment, or a consultative sales environment.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

– Self-directed and field-oriented

– A natural relationship builder; comfortable in rooms and charismatic

– Comfortable using AI tools to produce work, solve problems, and improve processes; you treat AI as a standard part of how you operate, not a novelty

– Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; you maintain trackers, reports, and logs to a clean and accurate standard

– Experience in sales, business development, account management, or client-facing roles

– Confident and composed in commercial conversations; contracts, pricing, and pushback do not rattle you

– Organised enough to manage a prospect pipeline and follow through on payments and commitments

– Strong communicator in English and ideally other Ghanaian local dialects

– Familiarity with Ghana’s hospitality, nightlife, or events landscape is a strong advantage

– Access to a personal vehicle is preferred; this is a field role and reliable transportation matters
