Acceptable Use of myTabler

Last updated 22 August 2026

These standards apply to every operator on myTabler. They are part of the Operator Agreement as Schedule 4, and they’re published here so guests can see what we hold operators to.

They do not set your commercial choices. Table packages, deposits, minimum spend, dress code and age restrictions are yours to configure. These standards govern how you operate, not what you sell.

1. Booking response

•

Where you’ve set bookings to require approval, approve or decline within 12 hours, and within 2 hours for a same-day request.

•

A request left past the response window is treated as declined and released back to inventory. A guest waiting on a table that isn’t coming is worse than a clean no.

•

Switch availability off for any date or table you can’t actually service, rather than declining requests afterwards.

•

Where you run a waitlist, work it in order, and release held tables promptly when a booking falls away.

2. Cancellation conduct

•

Publish your cancellation window, deposit terms and no-show policy before taking bookings, and apply them the same way to every guest.

•

Never cancel a confirmed booking to resell the same table at a higher price.

•

If you have to cancel, do it as early as possible, record the reason in the platform, and offer a reasonable alternative or a full refund.

•

Operator-side cancellations are monitored. A materially elevated rate can lead to suspension and is weighed at renewal.

3. Listing accuracy

•

Names, addresses, event dates, hours and capacity must be accurate.

•

Prices, minimum spend and package contents must be complete and must match what the guest actually receives.

•

Images and video must show your actual venue or event. Stock imagery is identified as illustrative.

•

Availability must reflect real inventory. Listing tables you don’t have to look busy is prohibited.

4. Prohibited conduct

•

Fake bookings, fake accounts, fake reviews, or manipulating ratings and ranking.

•

Discriminating against a guest on the basis of ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, nationality or any other protected characteristic.

•

Promoting or facilitating illegal activity, including unlicensed alcohol sales, controlled substances, or admitting minors to an age-restricted event.

•

Using the platform to harass, threaten or improperly contact a guest.

•

Uploading malware, probing platform security, or accessing another operator’s data.

•

Scraping, bulk exporting or reselling platform or guest data.

5. Content standards

•

Nothing obscene, defamatory, hateful or likely to incite violence.

•

Nothing that infringes a third party’s trademark, copyright or image rights, including music used in video.

•

No naming or depicting an identifiable individual without their consent.

•

Compliance with Ghanaian advertising and alcohol marketing rules.

6. Guest experience

•

Honour confirmed bookings and seat guests within a reasonable time of the booked slot.

•

Where a guest is downgraded, moved or turned away, record the reason in the platform and offer a reasonable remedy.

•

Persistent failure to honour bookings can lead to suspension.

7. How this is enforced

We can remove or amend content that breaches these standards, and we tell you when we do.

Serious or repeated breaches lead to suspension or termination.

Your standing here is reviewed at renewal. Where you’re in unremedied breach at the 60-day renewal review, we may decline to renew, or renew on condition that specific standards are met.

If you disagree with an enforcement decision, email info.mytabler@gmail.com and it gets looked at by a person.
