FOR GUESTS
Last updated 22 August 2026
Book honestly, turn up, and treat venue staff like people. Repeated no-shows, fake reviews and abuse will cost you your account.
myTabler works because operators trust that a booking means someone is actually coming, and guests trust that a listing is real. These guidelines protect both sides.
Book honestly
Book for the number of people actually coming. Book under your own name. Don’t hold multiple tables across venues for the same night to keep your options open; that’s inventory somebody else could have used.
Don’t resell a myTabler booking.
Turn up, or cancel properly
If your plans change, cancel in the app. It takes seconds and it releases the table.
We track arrival history. A pattern of no-shows may mean deposits are required on your future bookings, or that your account is restricted. We’ll tell you before that happens.
Respect the venue and its staff
Venues set their own dress code, age limit and house rules, and they enforce them at the door. A booking isn’t a guarantee of entry if you don’t meet them.
Abuse, threats, harassment or discriminatory behaviour towards staff or other guests ends your account. There is no warning process for this one.
Review honestly
Write about the visit you actually had. Don’t post reviews for bookings you didn’t attend, don’t name individual staff members, and don’t accept anything of value in exchange for a review.
Don’t misuse the platform
No fake accounts, no bulk bookings, no automated tools, no scraping, no attempts to break or probe the platform, and no attempts to access another person’s account or data.
What happens when guidelines are broken
Depending on what happened, we may remove content, require deposits on future bookings, restrict booking, suspend the account, or close it. Serious cases: fraud, threats, anything involving safety; are actioned immediately and may be reported to the operator or to the authorities.
If you think we’ve got it wrong, email info.mytabler@gmail.com and a person will look at it.
Reporting something
If something happened at a venue that we should know about, tell us. If you’re in immediate danger, contact the Ghana Police Service on 191 first.
