Guest Terms of Use

Last updated 22 August 2026

Use myTabler to find and book tables. Turn up when you say you will. The venue is responsible for your night; we’re responsible for the app and for getting your payment to them. You need to be 18 to have an account.

These terms apply every time you use myTabler. By creating an account or making a booking, you accept them.

myTabler is operated by MyTabler LTD (“myTabler”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in Ghana. You are “you” or “the guest”. The restaurant, bar, club, beach club or event you book with is “the operator”.

1. Who can use myTabler

You must be at least 18 years old to hold a myTabler account. Some venues and events set a higher age limit, 21 and over is common for clubs and bars. That limit is shown on the listing and enforced at the door, not by us.

You need to give accurate details when you sign up. Your name and mobile number are how an operator finds you when you arrive, so a fake one will cost you your table.

One account per person. Don’t share your login. If someone else uses your account, we treat those bookings as yours.

2. What myTabler actually is

We are the booking layer, not the host.

When you book a table, you are entering into a contract with the operator, not with us. They supply the table, the food, the drinks, the entry, the music and the premises. They are responsible for all of it, including safety on site and the conduct of their staff.

We are responsible for the app working, for showing you accurate information as supplied to us by the operator, and for collecting and handling your payment correctly.

If your night goes wrong because of the venue, the venue answers for it. If your night goes wrong because our app failed, we answer for it. We will help you sort out the first kind too, but the responsibility sits where it sits.

3. Your booking

A booking is confirmed when you see a confirmation in the app, and not before. Some operators auto-confirm instantly. Others review requests and approve or decline them.

If an operator hasn’t responded to your request within the response window, the request is released and your table is freed up. You won’t be charged for a request that was never confirmed.

What you see at the point of booking: the price, what’s included, the deposit, the cancellation window, the minimum spend, the dress code, the age limit; is what applies. Operators can change these settings for future bookings, but not for one you have already confirmed.

Full detail on money is in Bookings and Payments.

4. Turning up

Arrive within a reasonable time of your slot. Operators hold tables, and a table held for someone who never appears is a table nobody else could book.

Repeated no-shows affect your standing on myTabler. We track arrival history. Where a guest repeatedly books and fails to appear, we may restrict their ability to book, require deposits on future bookings, or close the account. We tell you before we do this.

5. Reviews and feedback

You can leave feedback after a booking you actually attended. Reviews must be your own honest experience of that visit.

We remove reviews that are fabricated, defamatory, name individual staff members, contain personal data about other guests, or are posted in exchange for anything of value. We do not remove a review simply because an operator dislikes it.

6. Your conduct

The Community Guidelines set out what’s expected. In short: don’t harass anyone, don’t defraud anyone, don’t misuse the platform, and treat venue staff like people.

7. Things you must not do

Don’t attempt to break, probe or reverse-engineer the platform. Don’t scrape it. Don’t use automated tools to make bookings. Don’t create accounts in bulk. Don’t resell a myTabler booking to someone else for profit.

8. Availability

We aim to keep myTabler running whenever you need it, and we do most of our maintenance outside busy hours. We can’t promise it will never be down. Where the app is unavailable, contact the venue directly; your confirmed booking still stands with them.

9. Our responsibility to you

We don’t limit our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law says we cannot limit.

Beyond that, we are not responsible for what happens at a venue, for an operator’s decision to accept or refuse your booking, or for losses that don’t flow directly from something we did wrong.

10. Changing these terms

We update these terms when the law changes or when the product changes. Where a change materially affects you, we tell you in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.

11. Closing your account

You can close your account any time in the app. Any confirmed bookings still stand; go, or cancel them properly first. What happens to your data afterwards is set out in the Privacy Policy.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. If something goes wrong between us, tell us first at info.mytabler@gmail.com and we will try to resolve it. Failing that, the courts of Accra have jurisdiction.
